Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the learning platform 'Smart im Netz' (hereinafter 'Platform'). By registering, you accept these terms.
Service description
The platform offers free online courses and learning materials on the use of digital devices and services. The offering is aimed particularly at older people. There is no entitlement to constant availability.
Registration and login
Login is via a Magic Link by email — no password is required. You are responsible for ensuring that only you have access to your email inbox.
Terms of use
The content of the platform may only be used for personal learning purposes. Sharing, reproduction or commercial use of content is not permitted without express permission.
Liability
The content is created with the greatest possible care. However, no guarantee can be given for the correctness, completeness and timeliness. Use is at your own risk.
Termination
You can have your account deleted at any time without giving reasons. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of violation of these terms.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers can be purchased via the /verschenken page and entitle the recipient to 12 months of Basic or Premium subscription. The redemption period is 12 months from the date of purchase; the voucher expires after this period without refund. Vouchers are non-transferable — the subscription applies to the person who redeems the voucher. Within 14 days of purchase, the buyer may revoke an unredeemed voucher and receive a refund. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. No automatic renewal occurs after the 12 months.
Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
