Frequently asked questions

What you should know before getting started

How much does Smart im Netz cost?

You can sign up for free and view introductory content. The basic subscription starts at €9.90 per month, premium at €14.90 per month — cancel any time, no hidden costs. All prices and features are on our pricing page.

Do I need prior knowledge?

No. Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience — you choose where to begin. We explain every step in plain language, without jargon, and you set the pace.

What if I can't figure something out?

You can repeat every step as often as you like. In our protected practice area (we call it the sandbox), you can try everything safely — nothing can break. If you wish, a family member can — with your permission — see what you have already learned and help in a targeted way. You decide who sees what.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We only store what we really need. Your data is in a secured data centre in Germany (Frankfurt) and protected by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use no tracking, no advertising and we do not sell your data. Read more in our privacy policy.

How do I sign up my mother or father?

You create a helper account and invite your relative by email. They receive a welcome link — no password to remember. After signing in, you can pay for the subscription and, with permission, see their learning progress.
